As for cuttings you don't... After it crops you will see strawberry plants send out long thin tendrils or runners
Thanks, I'll be patient. Hopefully I'll get many such runners. It may not crop well as it's already a couple of years old.
I've read the options of cloning by runners like that, or by cutting. But no sites told me when.
For now, I'll just monitor and let it heal. Will keep it weeded, maybe gently fed.

Kiwifer, I hope you get that knee looked at. could be nothing, or could be serious and getting treated over Christmas won't be easy.

My right leg is just about knackered today.
KF, that sounds bad! Have you managed to get home?
I’m home, leg is sore and I’m eating cheese and drinking Port.

I’m also on a ton of cocodamol so everything is okay at the moment. Heat and rest should help, thanks for asking folks!

I’ve just ordered supplements and another knee brace. The joys of getting old!

OK this isn't very exciting, but here is the spare room I liberated and decorated. The clothes rack has some cycling gear, some winter gear, some general, some bugout. My normal cycling pannier is on the rack, plus GTX boots. Bugout stuff is at the front, off my bedroom door.

I mainly moved the drawers off the landing as I want to get that decorated and probably re-carpeted. The wardrobe on the landing can be moved to where the drawers were and back. Top drawer is prep stuff like soap, steralising tabs. Other drawers have summer clothes in winter and vice versa, some cycling clothes etc. Bits of prep stuff in there. On top is the household first aid stuff.

There is room for a rack/bookcase on the right of the door. My prep rack used to be there. It's in my bedroom now. It holds a lot of stuff. I will get another for this room.

There's nothing in the plastic drawers or container as yet.

Found curtains last night for £26! (The old ones got covered in sh1te when the roofer went through the ceiling, and were faded at the edges anyway).

That's great! And I mean, real life prepping isn't terribly exciting - just tell me that when you use the exerciser, you have a radio or a little tv or something :)

It's right next to my room, so I used it the other day when there was just me on, had some music on my computer/hifi and left the door open. Funky house and nu-disco. Got some on now actually. I have got 1200 tracks since I got back into it earlier this year.

Result, one of the local farmers just knocked on my door - he's needing some trees blown down in storm arwen cleared. I cut them to length in his woodland, he transports them back to my house for minimal cost.
That'll be a suitable post Xmas Dinner wander to check it out.

Wire it up to a mini genny and charge the Jackery ? ;)

Real preps aren't exciting.... We don't want 'Exciting ' to happen as that normally means the wheels have fallen off
