I've had a couple not come from NHS but some scammer wanting card details to "pay for a test"

Listening to the news yesterday and the move to get back to "normal" one thing that was mentioned was the scrapping of free testing. Whether that's right or wrong from a medical point of view is a different argument but it did make me wonder if people have to start paying for tests how the criminal element in our society may react.

Just filled the car, petrol is now £1.43 a litre at Sainsburys in Edinburgh.

The BBC are reporting that oil prices are up which normally means a hike at the pump

Germany has pulled the plug on the NordStream pipeline and says they are "looking at other ways to secure gas supplies." That might be a disaster for Britain, as the EU will get the first dibs wherever it is from.

Planning a shopping trip tomorrow, with the info found on this site, I think I'll be upping my flour and cereal goods. Also getting any empty gas cylinders replaced. Been thinking of buying a cordless chainsaw for a while. think it might be now. My thinking is that if electric power cuts become a reality, when we have got electricity I can recharge batteries and fuel for petrol chainsaws may become expensive/difficult to get. Would give me another option anyway and given my RA, I can't work pull cords as no strength in shoulders so an electric one may mean I can use it. Also a visit to the hole in the wall for cash to have in case of technology problems.

Re the chainsaw see what other kits available for the same battery... Multiple options etc from chainsaw to drill to torch to usb adaptor....

And availability of a car charger might be useful
