bought a new set of shelves as I've filled the other two. Then went and bought a weeks worth of tins to go on it - just couldn't help myself it looked so bare:)

Arrived in post today, 1 new set of lifesaver carbon insert filters:

That's another 1,000 litres that can be treated. :D
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Is there a microfilter for these bottles in addition to the carbon ones you've bought?

Yes, it's a two part system, the carbon ones last for 250 litres and the main one either for 4,000 or 6,000 before they need replacing:

Just picked up another 12 storage boxes:

http://direct.asda.com/ASDA-30-Litre-Bo ... lt,pd.html

30 litre plastic boxes in ASDA going for £2.50 at the moment.

Just the right size for my shelves, and when full, can still be lifted easily. :)

Pseudonym, on that linkie they've put them up to £4!

Tesco do 24 litre for £3 ... its now £3.45

but that was on my history on Tesco Direct, it didn't come up when I searched. Hmmm, I'm seeing a pattern here.

More expensive on the website then - pah! I've just ordered two, though! It stil works out cheaper for me that way, because if I went into the store to buy them I'd come out having spent £50!
