As my back and neck have been playing up, I'm getting back to my physiotherapy exercises to keep me supple and give me better posture

Great idea, I thought about that method, but as I'm only feeding myself; I know what is where and how much I have.

Cook sets, stoves, medicines, toiletries, bin bags, TP etc are stored elsewhere also.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Tomorrow is pay day, so I can actually get some stuff! Yay! I plan to get my winter weather car bag dealt with - foil blankets, snacks, glow sticks, torch, check my first aid kit, pack warm things for myself and my toddler. Oh and buy more boxes for storing things, more tins and dried foods.

Taken a few days off to fish. Bad timing ad the river is now right across the valley, and we are cut off. Ah well. So, today I have madeup some more pike traces, cleaned me greenhouse and cut some firewood. I always carry a small waist pack( usually over my shoulder) which contains my 'Urban' kit, so I sorted that. Usual stuff, first aid, mars bars , water, phone etc.
In the morning I am going to start building a new cold frame.

That is a crap situation. I am on redundancy notice right now, so I understand. This IS where preps come in.

Dazz,

I've been there too. My advice is don't let yourself be lost under the workload or the weight of other people's expectations.
Keep hold of your real self and remember that you get more help if you shout so loud you can't be ignored!

I forgot all this advice of mine and had a hard time picking myself up later.
Don't ever decide you don't matter.

thanks for messages of support, it feels like redundancies are coming , as managers are moving us to different houses with only hours notice, keeping us on back foot, nothing outside contract , just enforcing contract quite severly, may mean others say sod this im off, but i will continue to hold on to job as long as possible and do the job as best i can,

this week i have sawn and chopped up around 2.5 ton of wood i was given for free and its all stacked for drying, also i'm waiting for a delivery of ready to burn hardwood, my joiner is building a new gate at the side of the house which will be very solid.

While clearing out my garage i found a full 13kg bottle of calour gas thats a bonus now got 5 full large and two half full small ones that will keep the gas cooker burning for a while :D
