Nick, take care - you haven't sounded well for ages, its true, focus on resting for now!
What Preps are you doing this week
Re: What Preps are you doing this week
Sorted out our Strawberry runners and potted on approx 50 to keep for this year. Started two types of peas, French beans and Tomato plants in the propagator. They will all go in the Polytunnel where I have just spent a lovely warm weekend getting things cleaned up and ready for the things I usually grow in there (it's a long list!).
Ordered Blight resistant potatoes (I had blight last year in the garden so this is my only option to try). I am not going to use soil this year, see link....

I think he is in Australia so you need to correct the planting time for your area.

just got more tins from tesco. Once again I am going to have to relearn my old tessellation skills from school geometry
Also started reaching out to a few companies for the possibility of setting up a biofuels (wood pellets and bioethanol) + self sufficiency + off grid products online business which I hope to open up within a month.
Have no idea if it will be successful, but one can but hope.

Just come back from Home Bargains... always worth a quick look around when I'm in the area. They have pots of 6 Bungees (different lengths) for £2.49. Also got a few more tins and stocked up on Hayfever tablets - cheapest I've ever seen them at 79p!
Spent all day yesterday in the garden and hoping to have a huge bonfire with garden rubbish while it's still dry. The idea is then to cover the area with tarps and keep it weed free ready for raised beds.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week
I purchased some Mylar bags and O2 absorbers off ebay. Purchased half my powdered milk target for this week. Will purchase the rest tomorrow(didn't realise how heavy it would be lol). I'm following a great supply purchasing plan from the LDS Prep guide 2012. It's great at helping me to not feel overwhelmed.

Showed the OH how to make a fire, how to make shelter and some edible foods. On our walk we did today. Just incase anything were to happen. Make sure she's safe an all.
It's not exactly what we are prepping for or prepping full stop, but it's better to have the knowledge than not.
