Picked up a folding saw for 3 quid at aldi's today.

Result
A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week./

Finished off lots of bits and bobs today: scanning photos, sorting keyrings, getting financial information into order - I had to find lots of things to do in the house as I was waiting for *hours* for an Approved Foods delivery - they used to give an hour's delivery slot, and its suddenly changed to nine hours :( which means I'll never use them again - life's too short for that.

Great deal at Costco from the 8th April until 28th April buy one get one free on Highland Spring Sports Cap bottled water 20 x 750ml bottles for £7.42 inclusive of vat. That's 40 bottles in all.

So about 18p a bottle. That's 30 litres of water. Great prep value.

I've done nothing for a couple of weeks but visit hospital and break into some noodles and beans from my backup food, it's tough being self employed sometimes.
So instead I went online last night to see what's in my area in the way of archery clubs, research counts! :-)

Mad gardening session now that it is starting to defrost out there a bit.
Getting the cold frames tidied and going to give the water butt a good cleanout.
Apart from that...potting on and some more seeds in the propagator.
And some tidying in the larder/preps department.

Well, the time is approaching as I knew it would - we have to swap my car that I love for a sensible bob...... I know this should be positive but it's breaking my heart. I'm swapping my 54 plate audi a8 3.7l petrol automatic v8 Quattro (77k) for an 06 plate 2.5td shogun sport warrior (87k).

If anybody has negative comments to make please do so today only as the deal will be concluded tomorrow and I'm enough of a wreck as it is - my OH had to frogmarch me into the yard to look at it!

Other than that - we've built a new pantry this week (photos to follow when I've tidied it up!) ;)

Good solid vehicle the Mitsubishi, Audi are rubbish by comparison, really, honestly, maybe....

I gave up my supercharged jaguar for a land rover a few years ago, due to a dramatic change of life I now have neither but I probably miss the land rover more...

This week has seen me check my very small stash in my allotment shed and rotate out the water (ie drink it and replace it!) It a useful stash for when I am down the allotment but it also is an additional place for a very few basics including the obligatory simple first aid kit, choc bars, tea, coffee and water. I need to do the same for my rucksack which is a BoB as I am sure the fruit ration chewy bars will be about to expire and I know I used the glucose energy sweets this winter when I was feeling poorly so they need replacing.
