I am actually downsizing my stores and kit. Getting rid of all sorts of stuff at boot sales. This is to make it all more manageable. I do not need 3 generators for example.Bonkers!

Since my personal dramatic economic downturn, I have drifted toward a more self-sufficiency based philosophy. It is interesting that my land and livestock has made me a calmer person. The World News saddens me, but I do not get alarmed like I used to.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.

Clearing out junk to sell and raise some cash. Doing a load of 'tarting-up' my city-centre house ready to sell it (hopefully !).

Had my offer on a cottage in the country accepted, so I'll be able to grow more veggies and keep some chickens etc soon :) Fresh water from a stream at the bottom of the garden and the roof is suitably aligned to invest in some PV panels at a later date if I can afford it. Also right next to a big wood for fuel access once I get solid-fuel range sorted out (subject to payment/ owner's permission ofc).
I'm in Area 7 !

Is there a trading zone on here?

I'm sure there are some of us near to you who are interested in buying your surplus

Learning how to make paper mache briquettes that I can then break down into better fuel for the kelley kettle and for outdoor cooking in a wood gas stove.
