I forced one in my sisters handbag a few years back when her and a mate went to visit the big smoke.... strangely i was right for once to do so bad weather trains stopped and they got dumped at a station miles from home waiting room locked up no shelter when my mum got to them her and her mate were huddled up in the blanket.. when collected by they offered it to a young couple as she remembered me telling her not to bother folding it up if you use it just bin it once your safe....


anyways this is my mini day out bag / away from home EDC....

its nothing fancy need to replace the eaten mars bars and the £1stretcher 500ml drinks bottle...... but contains some basic survival bits and bobs.. without been threatening / a coppers dream of arresting me...

SOL bivvie bag
Goretex baseball cap (dry = warm it also keeps the sun off my solar panel head)
overtrousers and jacket (waterproof / poormans goretex) keep the wind off and me dry

Swiss farmer basic knife legal carry and been swiss not exactly offensive looking)

Bull branded lighter with built in Blue LED torch

few puritabs

Isralli dressing

and first aid kit (a hotuk deals freebie)

which has

resus face mask

gloves

scissors

wound dressing

burn dressing

triangle bandage

micro pore tape

selection of plasters

sterri strips

wet wipes


all in one of these
