I can make batteries which can power lights continuously for over 1 month using very easy to find materials.
I have a treadle powered lathe and can turn metal or wooden items.
I can fit PV and thermal solar, wind turbines including making them from car parts.

Not even with managing your own mental state after a few months of isolation?? I'm not knocking you but hey, skill sets aren't a gauge of what equipment you have stashed are they? I really dont think any of us would cope without our natural instinct to find companionship or contact with our race.....

I think it would be harder for you who live in crowded places . Anybody living remote has already adapted to a certain extent Janso. But I do know that post-fan, things would not be normal and who can say for sure how they'd react really.

I'm quite knowledgeable on survival psychology dont you know LIL!!!!

I've done a few bits on it for study, living in isolation on your own DOES affect your mindset. It is natural for us to live with others in some way; their is an innate social need!

Likewise, their is an issue with a group living in isolation - small details like 'this is my .......' can become really big problems, everything is magnified!! If there is a finite amount of resources and you are operating under stressful conditions, expect the smallest comment to become the biggest argument!!

Even Tom Hanks' "Chuck Noland" had his "Wilson" to keep him a little bit more sane.
