That second article certainly explains the shaky bits in the original story.
One other thing that I just noticed in the Mail one as well that I missed before, shows him posing with the knife, not a similar knife, says it's the knife, but also says later on that the court ordered the forfeiture of the item, so he shouldn't still have it to pose with.
That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die.

[quote="Wulfshead"]Yorkshire Andy,

The being pulled up for a drink & drive thing reminded me of when I got pulled up on new years eve in me Jag. I was on powerful meds and couldn't drink. The copper was almost falling out of his passenger window trying to smell booze on my breath. The initial reason for pulling me up was I made a brake that nearly had him hit the back of me. I said 'It's up to you to keep a safe distance is it not'
I do mind putting coppers in their place when I know I'm in the right.
Mind you, a car full of merry makers at chuck out time would be an almost cert for a nick in most cases I think.

I say to you

Powerful meds Eh? did the box say don't use heavy machinery? Driving under the influence of some drug I think, lucky you didn't kill someone or maybe I've got the story your trying to tell wrong

Nope, the doctor told me I could drive but drink would diminish the effect of the drug, simple as that really.
I'll tell you what it was, I slashed my hand on some metal and the infection was creeping up my arm. The drug had to be strong as I'd left it some time before getting to my doctors.
Hope that answers your question

There's lots of medications I've come across pain killers muscle relaxants etc that carry that warning but usually with the caveat "if affected do not...." There's also a few that will react badly with alcohol but cause no side effects without.

If what you posted above was true I would be on permanent sick as there is no way I could work and take the pain killers I need to keep mobile.
