Not so much a Christmas Prep but I wanted to share some of the presents I got this year.
The boss (my wife) got me a Gerber DMF folding knife with Titanium Nitride Coating, a Bear Grylls ultra compact knife (made by Gerber) and a pretty decent Axe.
I've also got a new monocle with a built in low light/night vision system built in. Providing there is some natural background light (overcast moon) it gives good visibility out to about 750m
Now I've got to persuade the wife it's camping time again!

Re: Preps for Christmas
I forgot to add my Christmas present to myself... A new jacket. (Just doesn't arrive for another week yet)
Originally I was intending to use it for when I go out hiking as I can spread my kit around me and not have to carry a bag. However after reading a great thread on here "Bugging out at night during winter" the point being the person who wrote the thread has a bug-out-jacket. I'm now thinking of creating a hybrid version as my jacket isn't exactly covert
I'm looking forward to getting it now to see if it's any good.

If you join their Facebook page and mailing list they do some great promotions and discounts on items. I ended up with a 45% off code from a flash sale they emailed me about for Black Friday.
