I write down everything I spend on a spreadsheet, to keep track of finances, and check my bank account every few days. So if there ever is fraud, it can be nipped in the bud. There was one about a year ago, several transactions over one day. Soon got that refunded. They sent me a new card, there was no risk to the actual account.

And remember the magic words "I wish to make a formal complaint" According to a family member who worked on an insurance service desk for a bit nothing would happen unless you used this phrase which then kicked in a number of legal procedures and would get you the attention needed.

I’m a cleaner at a school at the moment but I do pet sitting and life modelling. Hubby has a good job and skip dives too.

I have my Christmas markets and I have, in the past, done some academic proofreading, plus some copywriting and editing for a friend - no time for that now with my job, sadly.

I've always had some kind of side hustle. Back in the day, when we were still using dial up modems, online casinos hadn't quite figured themselves out, so I used to join up, then take advantage of the invariably large bonuses they offered to new customers, play that through then take all the winnings out. Couldn't do that now as you usually have to play through 1000x the bonus amount to be able to withdraw any winnings you've accumulated through bonus play. But it was good while it lasted.
