How many in this thread have read Selco's descriptions of real life SHTF WRL? He has a couple of books out about what happened in Kosovo but you can also get a lot of the information here:

He has a good bit to say about whether or not you will be able to "defend" your preps. It would seem that the grey man wins every time.

A lot of preppers forget about the grey man approach. Another thing which I have largely omitted myself is to get involved in local community stuff.

I haven't bought any of his books, to be honest, because he used to write such a lot on Organic Prepper, but yes, I agree, his insights are really valuable.
