In the context of my post "the great unwashed" was referring to the hordes of unprepared refugees that would be stripping everything and anyone bare like a plague of locusts if TEOTWAWKI occurs.

Well totally agree with your description of what will potential y happen but as I see it all but the most prepared will become refugees, shop keeper, policeman etc and most important next door neighbor. I feel the biggest threat to people who are prepping will come from those who have not but who are in the preppers own community/circle of friends.
