Had a busy couple of weeks so not been able to post as much but hope you are all well especially those of you in the south west of England.
Had a really good tidy up last week, which now means I have much more space for prepping and my preps are in a much more structured order instead of a little sections all over the place.
Picked up a few top up bits the other day such as
Batteries
Cough Medicines and other various medical bits and bobs.
Some cup a soups as they where on sale at my local green and white supermarket.
Bottled water(its something I always like to top up on when ever I get the chance to)
Couple of new torches which I am very impressed with.
Picked up some tinned beef slices as well which caught my eye in the local shop so will hopefully give them a taste over the weekend to see if they will become a new meat staple to my preps,
so yea all fun and games as usual guys so hope you are all well and see ya soon

Having food, water and shelter are not a right.
They are a responsibility.
So make it your priority.

Bought a plum tree from Aldi (£3.99), and two redcurrant bushes from a local shop (£2.49) Also some seeds, herbs and flowers. I'm delighted with them all, and look forward to some guerilla gardening shortly.
Cheers, 2RM.

Re: What Preps are you doing this week
The chickens have been swimming all week so we ordered some wood chip off our log man. We have dug out their run and put in a nice thick layer of woodchip. So they'll be dryish underfoot for a few days. Also their roof across the run has been leaking so as a temporary measure we have put a tarp across the top. Our spring job is to make a new roof.
OH has now moved his pole lathe into the garage. The shelter collapsed this winter and he hasn't been able to use the lathe. So he's spent a few weeks sorting the garage and has set up a great working space in there.
I have cleared the garden path of grass etc so we can stay off the muddy grass as we go and down to the chickens.
I wanted to do some more but the weather has just got too bad.
Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to prepare the ground for the plum tree that is arriving next week.

Our gardens like a paddy field,so will be late planting This year.I still got to source raised beds and install them
But will grow small quantities of traditional crops with interest in the James Wong homegrown revolution, stealth gardening,I have some of his brand seeds like Queensland arrowroot, beefsteak plant ,dahlias ,white strawberries, and edible flowers.

The gas has gone, so I am glad to have both an electric heater (imagine if I had got rid of it under the pretence that mains gas would be ok all the time?) and my ethanol fireplace.
Done a massive washing up load with two rapid boil electric kettles (dont see the point of throwing out the old one just cos I got an upgrade) and still have the kelley kettle and camping kettle on standby in case the electric goes too (lights have been flickering)
and tomorrow i can practice my art of using a watering can as a shower unit before church.

Bought 72 hot dogs for £6 and cleared Tesco out of tins of pineapple slices for 75p. Great preps but on that diet it may be my S*** that hits the fan first.
I recently experienced Plymouth City centre so that's why I prep.
