Been to Trago today - got some more small spare gas canisters for the camping stoves just in case the power goes with the weather! Also got a splitting wedge - same as one on Amazon but for about half the price. They had a rather nice long bow for about £110 - need to do more research on that one though!

Bought a plum tree last week and a redcurrent bush. Goodness knows when they will get put in though with this weather!

I'm sorting out storage too - partly so I can store more *stuff*, and partly so I can have the things on hand that are essential if I'm going to grow a business, as well as my main work - and I need more income, so that part is really important. I'm also carrying on, as much as I can, with getting the garden into shape - clearing the edges of the patio of weeds that have grown up (and rescuing the worms, which takes ages), cleaning slate chips to put in a border, and roughly cleaning stones to use as drainage for windowsill boxes that are sitting on the soil - I'm using bricks as stepping stones to reach them at the moment, the garden isn't quite flooded, but its really bad.

And I'm upping my stocks, of everything I can.

Bought a 10kg bag of bulga wheat and have vacuum sealed it into 4 person portion sizes.

I don't do politics or religion. Seen to many people die because of these.

I post to contribute so take as you see fit. My way is not the only way.

Downloaded a lot of good manuals-
A friend put me on to this, US military manuals can be downloaded for free and there is a lot of very useful stuff. These are on Amazon some selling for around £10 but all are free to download.
On the left hand side of the page you will see PDF click on that and a PDF version appears and you can download. :P

https://archive.org/search.php?query=co ... publicdate

Take your time to go through the extensive list and you will find some real gems.

Also have done a full inventory of med kit. Found my celox bandages are close to their date. Anyone know if they stay good for longer than given date?

Refilled ale the stored water containers.

I have shaved myself from head to toe and from crack to crease, in order to be less attractive to lice, fleas and ticks in preparation for the next two weeks living in my shipping container.

Oh, yeah. I nearly forgot. I have bought a magnetic antenna for the container so I can use the radio. Spoiling myself, really.
I recently experienced Plymouth City centre so that's why I prep.
