Added an electric/gas/alcohol stove to the landrover and stocked up on methylated spirits.

Today I cut a load more logs. Now we have eough firewood for the next two Winters. In the greenhouse I sowed climbing peas, 'Champion Of England', a damned good pea for drying. I checked the generators and checked all the fuel and oil supplies.
Then sorted my fishing kit- 'cos I am going in the morning!!!!

Its camping season in B+M land! Have checked out the camping heaters and might get two in case of issues next winter as a supplement to the ethanol and maybe something I would feel safer using upstairs. The heaters use the same cartridge cylinders as the briefcase stove thing. They are only 1.3 Kw each, but two of them going would be enough to keep the chill at by I should imagine.
The problem with that shop at this season is that they have too many toys for me to lust after and all relatively cheap......

Here's one prep I won't be doing this week ... Received a marketing e-mail from Clinique (for the guys, that's make-up
), advertising one of their products. It reads, "Prep like a pro .. Try Superprimer FREE!" I may make sure I have a tonne of my most effective moisturiser on hand, but I don't think make-up primer will be up there with essentials
. I'm planning on wearing a balaclava

Grats, cap'n. It's something I want to do, some time in the medium term from now. I was thinking along the lines of a Dellquay Dory.23pioneer wrote:Just bought myself a boat, an Orkney strikeliner with a nice little engine and some other stuff, and the bloke said i could pay him a deposit take the boat and them pay the balance in two monthly payments-result
