24 months

low security , weapons are an excellent equalizer one gun is a start but two with 1000 rds per person is ideal, standardizing your weapons to one caliber simplifies ammo storage and reloading

typical American answer !

not in the UK where we can only store a limited amount of ammo legally and having more than one type of firearm is hard

ALL PRAISE TIGS!!!

Seems to have it sorted.

Score was 42

It reckons 2-4 months, I happen to think it would be longer tbh - That survey wasn't THAT in-depth

Tigs 24 months is the highest you can store. It would seem to be the equivalent of self-reliant and sustainable. Anyone who scores more than 12 months has little to worry about.
It may never happen. Best to be prepared just in case.

Its all a bit of a gamble really. It depends on what "it" is going to be like, the shape so to speak, of the crisis, even if there is one. Will it be energy problems, food problems, water problems, social unrest and yadeyada. We dont know.

I can do the best that I can, but not much more than that.

Very true ND. I think if we cover all the bases then we can call ourselves preppers. In the end nothing may happen but if it does we are ready. Resilience is the name of the game and what lies ahead is anyone's guess.

1 to 2 months which is ok, not sure if this would be a safe bug out place anyway so might end up stocking up my cupboards for looters and it might be better to store supplies somewhere else as well. I would like some more items to trade, think they would be more useful.

no meat stored though as I don't eat it, lots of grains though

I would have stocked more food but recently bought an a expensive water filter instead of more food as having clean water is more of a priority.

Maybe someone could make a UK survey instead to be more relevant. :)

I got 4 to 8 months, which is good i think as I have only been prepping for a few months, although it has taken over my life
security was an issue but i am still happy with the score :D
