Ah I've always found it interesting how these things go full circle;

My old nan could never get her head around that craze in the 90's when people where tearing up their fitted carpets to sand and varnish the floorboard,
always used to say, 'well that's how it was back in the olden days' :lol:

Remember as a kid too she used to take us to her friends farm and their kitchen hadn't altered in about 50 year,
had a big old pot sink and solid fuel cooker, we thought it was proper quaint.

It has to be that way. The propaganda gardens in some parts of the nation are about promoting food security. Now, I don't think that there is a need to promote food security if we have it and will have it for a long long time. If people are insecure about food security and food cost, then they take action.
