What Preps are you doing this week
Re: What Preps are you doing this week
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

we prefer day trips and sleep in our own bed, we have a little dog(Cairn terrier) who dosent like long car journeys and there is no way on earth I am putting her in a kennel.
Adapt or Die, there is no middle ground.
Re: What Preps are you doing this week
We have an indoor rabbit and a dwarf hamster. We found a lovely lady who's set up a business looking after small furries, as well as dogs and cats at home. Days before our trip to Barcelona last year, our rabbit became unwell and needed close care, but still wasn't expected to survive. The lady and her son were happy to do everything we required and when we came back our rabbit was on the mend and is still with us, although she has suffered permanent damage as a result. We were very happy and would use the service again. I think kennels are pretty awful for family pets. There are alternatives.lonewolf wrote:we prefer day trips and sleep in our own bed, we have a little dog(Cairn terrier) who dosent like long car journeys and there is no way on earth I am putting her in a kennel.

I have indoor cat who stays in cattery when we go away, heated throughout with own outside space, they post pics for you online and are total pet lovers. Couldn't leave him home alone think he would be too unhappy.
On prepping note, received my powdered fruit to add to water and have tried a couple of flavours and they are really tasty so will definitely get more to add to my stash.
