Been in Dunelm spring sale
Got 4 wool blankets reduced from £25.00 to £2.50 each
The warmest thermal dressing gown I've ever had down from £30 to £4 .50 ( wrapped up in it now )
Cushions were £15 down to £1.50
And thermal blackout curtains the larger sizes of 90 width down from £85 to £30 the smaller windows down from £45 to £12.50 and a thermal door curtain down to £6.50 from £40 all matching ..so was great buy
Then the bedding.. mattress topper at £7.50 was £60 originally
Hot water bottles at £1 ... thermal pillow cases down to a pound a pair...
All put away for this winter ...
Found AA de-icer down to less than a quid too so grabbed 3 bottles of that for the winter preps ..
The do you want a bag didn't cut it
Just tipped it into car from the trolley

Just did a large order of pie mash and liquor from https://www.manze.co.uk/ in London... just in case ;)

You know it makes sense Rodders

Not sure if anything is American seeing as they are all handcrafted traditional English dishes.

Eat what you store....

You can take the boy out of London....

Checked a ditty bag in emergency grab bag/ BOB. Replaced Imodium. Ordered more. Checked when 12x AAA batteies in it were last charged. Checked lighters work. I have another ditty bag as well. I just use them for small items. This one also has a small Swiss army knife, water purifying tablets and a chapstick. Plus a couple of containers of windproof matches.

Checked dates on some cream I use.

Bought 30L of Petrol for storage. I'll be stock rotating so as to not need to buy stabiliser.

30L Is the limit unless I write to the Petrol Enforcement Agency..... So I've written to them asking if there's any other requirement, such as a fee or documentation or whatever. Watch this space for their reply.

Also, this week, sowed some peas and beans.

Changed my phone for nano Sim to ESim. What a nightmare that was. I don't even have a reason for doing it. Took about 10 attempts and 3 phone calls. The emails don't direct you to the right place. Of course they don't! Why would someone design a mass email that is how it should be? I have no idea why it keep failing at the last hurdle.

I read that iPhones might go up 50% (thanks Donald), and you can get an iPhone 15 for £599 at Argos. It's tempting. They are eSim only.

The petrol companies now admit that modern petrol starts to deteriorate as quick as 30 DAYS :(

A good stabiliser extends life to more than 2 years without any problems :)

I use Mountfields universal stabiliser, so I don’t have to mess about so much

Thanks, but that adds £1 a litre to my cost!!!!!
I'd only want to pay up to about 1/4 of that

Sounds like I'll need to get a grip on rotation.
