Decaff, the best uht milk I have found is the co op own brand. It all has a taste and smell but that one (to me) is the best.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.

Thank you, I will have to try this brand! I don't drink much but a must have for the store cupboard for use in cooking/hot drinks :)

Just ordered my first pandemic specific items: gloves, masks, eye protection, shoe covers, and hand sanitizer. Precautionary items in case I need to go out and about during any possible future local cases.

Always joked UHT stands for ultra horrible taste.
Have you considered tinned condensed milk or perhaps powdered ?

I agree!! Vile taste and smell, but there was this one I found that didn't smell or taste funny! So mad at my memory!!!

I will get both condensed and powdered stocks but wanted some liquid cartons to save on water reconstituting the powdered version. I'm really struggling to find storage for water so every liquid item will save space, if that makes sense :?

One other thought occurred to me and that is almond milk. That's a milk made from almonds. We brought some from approved foods some time ago and found it quite pleasant. Obviously not dairy but in our opinion a much better taste than soya milk . Still down to personal taste I guess.

This weekend I floored about a third of the roof space and then cleared out the garage of stuff that was dumped there when we moved in and cleared under the beds of all the Christmas stuff that was stuffed there as well giving us a lot of space to store stuff and still have it easy to get too.
I gave up one of my lock ups so freeing up some extra cash each month for preps. Need to sort out the other one now my supply dump I keep there is stuffed at the back.
Added a few more candles to the stock you can never have too many. Bought a Tilley lamp on eBay just waiting on it arriving then seeing what condition it really is and getting it sorted.
Need to sort out cooking kit and I have too many stoves all running different fuels I want to simplify my fuel stocks
Not planning for the end of the world just to survive till normality resumes, while sticking to the scout moto be prepared!

Still considering do I want to survive the end of the world or deck chair on the front lawn with a cold beer?

I have been stocking up on these items as well. Always a good idea to have both inside and outside protective equipment so have been trying to do both

My log bomb arrived today so I can split my larger logs, need to invest in a better axe next.
Had a few other goodies arrive too, my tyvec lvl 3 gowns and several rolls of duct tape.

This week I am going to increase my stock piles of:
- Water
- Tinned foods
- Making a letterbox for the gate

A few tasks i need to get done are:
- Sort out attic
- Sort out shed
Fail to prepare, then prepare to fail.
