I mentioned Dr Simoncini in passing and have done little research into him, My Bad.
If he did indeed cause the death of those people then he can go on the list with all the oncologists who have killed patients using Chemotherapy, Radiation and Surgery.
That does not take away the research I (and others) have done into the subject in general. We were originally discussing lung cancer in Japanese smokers.
My offer is still open to anyone who actually wants to learn something about vaccines, cancer or the fact that HIV does not cause AIDS. Even my doctor agrees that HIV does not cause AIDS. Maybe he's a quack too?
This kind of fact-less, non-evidence based, harangue bores me and demeans this excellent site.
I think I will go away for a few days and leave it all alone, it will ease my blood pressure. I hope when I return the site will be back to its courteous, informed and informative self.
There is 'another' prepping site on the internet that demands that all claims are backed up by verifiable facts or research, not a bad idea in my opinion, Facta non verba.

You know, I want to do exactly the same thing. I'm tired of factless posts and claims.
If our userbase doesnt start to turn things around I'm going to seriously consider the future of this site. (The hosting is up for renewal next month)

Agreed. Which is why we are working hard to rid UKP of such drivel. The mods are removing posts, and in some cases, members, who refuse to adhere to the rules of the site.

Scoob - just ban the idiots. I have NO problem with that at all. I don't want this site to go anywhere, and it's high time that MORE of the members got involved to stamp out the nonsense.
This thread is being dragged into the conspiracy category which was not my intention.
The information I posted on here is from Documentaries (with respectable people in their realtive fields) that I have watched and I cannot post them on here, that is why I am offering to share this info with anyone who is genuinely interested.
The websites I posted were from a quick search to show that there is info out there but the main info has been gleamed from much trawling through documentaries that go into this subject in much more detail than I can do on here. Any medical person who claims a cure for cancer is going to get struck off so they instantly become "unreliable".
Here is a quote I just got off the net. I haven't corroborated this statement but it does make interesting reading.
"In 2002, the Journal of the American Medical Association reported that in the previous year, the average oncologist had made $253,000 of which 75% was profit on chemotherapy drugs administered in his/her office. Yet, surveys of oncologists by the Los Angeles Times and the McGill Cancer Center in Montreal show that from 75% to 91% of oncologists would refuse chemotherapy as a treatment for themselves or their families. Why? Too toxic and not effective. Yet, 75% of cancer patients are urged to take chemo by their oncologists."
From what I have seen, I do not believe an industry that makes Billions off cancer treament wants a cure. If you make money off people being ill where is the incentive to make them healthy. Human kindness? Non existent to the moguls who run these companies.
Here is a quote from Marcia Angell, a former editor in chief of the prestigious The New England Journal of Medicine. She is currently a senior lecturer in social medicine at Harvard Medical School. Her latest book is The Truth About the Drug Companies: How They Deceive Us and What to Do About It.
"The combined profits for the ten drug companies in the Fortune 500 ($35.9 billion) were more than the profits for all the other 490 businesses put together ($33.7 billion) [in 2002]. Over the past two decades the pharmaceutical industry has moved very far from its original high purpose of discovering and producing useful new drugs. Now primarily a marketing machine to sell drugs of dubious benefit, this industry uses its wealth and power to co-opt every institution that might stand in its way, including the US Congress, the FDA, academic medical centers, and the medical profession itself."
You can add to that list anyone who comes up with a cure for cancer.
If anyone wants a DVD PM me and after you have watched it you can post your opinion on here, be it positive or negative, if you do not want a DVD, no problem, just don't tell me what I do or do not know or think.
Just be lucky
PS This is my last post in this thread as it is obvious it is upsetting some people which was not my intention and I apologise unreservedly.

I'm an occasional smoker, I smoke a pipe or cigar on the last day of every month, my birthday, Christmas and new years eve. It's a habit but its only 15 a year so it can't do that much?
