Re: Winter prep..
It's been quite nippy and wet in the garden of England. I've started donning a jacket already. We are heading into that depressing time of year now

Re: Winter prep..
Ha, ha. My husband is just the same, has already started saying it's time for the heating. Unfortunately he is wrong (nothing knew there) as I don't like the heating going on until November.
Onto actual winter preps, I have had our winter duvets (the one for our bed plus the guest one) washed and dried ready to use once it gets chilly enough. I've also made sure our winter coats are washed and ready to go as it is a bit nippy in the morning when I leave for work at 7am already. I've also checked my freezer stockpiles and am keeping them topped up.

Re: Winter prep..
Oh dear, they do say it's grim up north Andy!
It's still bright and sunny here but the temperature has dropped a wee bit. Had quite a lot of wind and heavy showers.
I need to pick up some more blue col this weekend in time for the first frost. I've got -5c in at the moment it's like normal screen wash and anti-freeze it just refreezes. Very scary!
But blue col neat is like screen wash and deicer all in one, I think it's like -15c or something. Good enough for the south east anyway
