By and large I tell my customers that I stop cutting grass when the clocks go back although some are very insistent that I give it another “run over” . I do use the mower on a higher setting though as it works to pick up leaves with the added advantage that it chops them up so they will decompose quicker . Even though I have trees of my own I can’t resist bringing some of these chopped up leaves home to make leaf mould . I can’t bring them all home though.
