GeeGee that’s a terrible thing to happen! Squeeze the life out of them! Lots of luck with everything, what a tough time for you all. Very well done for being so organised.
Thanks
They rang daughter today and apologised and asked can we close the case
The answer was a definite NO
Want the money at least back for what she's spent on the jackerys etc
She was the only one who really thought ..things will be ok ...they wont do things to people with kids ....
She isnt that person since Monday ..
Already has a prepping cupboard taking it slowly and adding as she shops ...
Well done daughter of GeeGee, stick to your guns.
They hope you'll just go away, just keep adding interest to the money you spent out.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.
Signed up to another 1 year gas and electricity deal. It's Ofgem prices, ie variable, less £50 a year standing per fuel. There's probably only going to be me here, so I should use less. I just picked the cheapest one they offered me. Reckon I should be £200 in credit around the middle of October.

Both doors and most windows open, trying to grab some cool air. My room is 26.8 (I think it reached 30 yesterday). Today should be cooler, but then several days at 25-27. In Iraq, it's 50, and air con demand has crashed the grid, causing blackouts. But air con units can fail at 50°, even if the power is working.
Started with this one arrived with a mullered micro usb port and the ebay supplier replaced it... I've ordered a micro usb port to solder a replacement in as the seller told me to bin it ..
Ordered 2 of these using usb c £20 Lamp the top lamps are bloody good.. way better than the nebo unit i already have and way brighter than the ever ready weather ready
Was just thinking this morning that autumn and winter seem to be coming very fast this year and with the unpredictable weather things might get interesting. Time to check over preps and thinking.
Yep, last hot day today. Winter is coming! Time to make notes of things to do. My hand warmers (I have Reynauds Syndrome) were on the little book case in my room, and vanished during decorating. I'll need to find those. After tonight I can wash the duvet cover I've been using empty, and swap to my Tog 1 for a few weeks. They are colour coded - Tog 1 is in a blue cover. Empty cover is natural cotton colour, and will go on my Tog 3 for the autumn. I have a Tog 4.5 in a green cover for the winter. At some point, I may use a combination. When not in use, they are in zip up storage bags under my bed.
Had exactly the same issue with those Lepro lanterns - pushed the usb cable in and the connector snapped off. Likewise wired in a new connector and mounted it on the side. Works fine - just a bit of a pain dismantling everything then working out what cables go where.

It's a shame because they bar the usb port are decent lights..
