A couple of times a year our local co op has a half price washing powder deal so we stock up- it doesn't go out of date,is always going to be used and saves the pennies! :D
It's great isn't it! Friends always remark on how my home always smells of fresh washing   good job they don't open the cupboard ;)

Love a good deal, bought huge bags from Groupon and always add a 10 wash box to a shop when I can, I have lots of cleaning stuff stashed away

I live in a mid terrace and the drainpipe is in next doors garden. They would let me tap into it if need be,but you can't beat having your own. So bought a down spout piece and just waiting for some drain pipe from a friend,so if need be I can fit downspout and my own supply.

Finally after 6 weeks put off by work , weather and botheredness (made up word)have finally installed the hydraulic pump and cylinder to the horsebox(my bov but she dosent know) so that I don't have to go to every horse event and she can put the ramp up herself at the push of a button .Welding , cutting , and general fabrication and sliding about underneath a 17ton truck and its done . Beer and a wee swing in the hammock later and some cold beers

Brilliant! Such a simple, yet effective thing to do. Filter through a tea towel and boil, job done.

Hit two different car boot sales as its coming to the end of the season, then hit a few outdoor shops as the sales are starting to begin as the weather gets worse.

Picked up a Primus Eta Express and a few cans of gas from Cotswolds Outdoors as it was on sale, and got a non working Casio Gshock (now working after I put in a new battery) for £2, from a car boot.

I was expecting more camping stuff and tools this time of year as it's the right time for people to get shot of summer hol's bits and tools from failed projects.
