I was hoping someone might have a Laplander Sheath template I could use. I picked up some basic leather working tools and really nice scrap pieces of leather today. It will be my first time working with leather.
If anyone can help me out or point me in the right direction I will be really greatful.
Cheers,
HP

Re: Bacho Laplander Sheath Template
Search "making a sheath for a knife" on google - there's a stack of step-by-step, video and other guides.
I've just made a sheath - not yet finished - for a pal's old scout knife. First time I've done it. My lessons learnt were: use a stanley knife, pay loads of attention to marking out, don't be in too much of a hurry, and the first one will look crap, but there's loads of room for improvement.
Go for it and enjoy it, it's a nice skill to have.
