Hi, My husband and I are new preppers and will be glad of advice and even to meet preppers in Somerset. He enjoys hunting, shooting, fishing and I concentrate on the home based stuff, though he has persuaded me to learn how to handle a catapult!

What are you prepping for?
New on my radar is TTIP. Keeping a close eye on that one! Hoping that our wonderful MPs will see sense and keep the NHS safe and sound - I think they vote on Friday morning.
Until recently alarm bells were ringing financially but TPTB have restored my disability payments (well, it's called PIP now) so that worry has eased. We'd been building up our 'food bank' (my partner's phrase - she didn't like 'emergency stash'). We're up to about a month's worth now.
Anyway, get stuck in in, there's lots to read. Looking forward to your contributions!
