Hi All,
Dunno if anyone else has spotted these, but Poundland have been selling those nifty little boxes for stopping your AA and AAAs from bouncing around all over the place. Selling them in packs of 3 (Kodak brand).
Similar to http://www.ledfiretorches.co.uk/ansmann-aa-aaa-case but couldnt find a link to the Poundland ones.

That's quite a good price. I just bought a pack of 4 from Ebay China for £1.30.
Top tip...use some pvc electrical tape over the spine as this always splits.

Should have also mentioned that I just bought these as well:

Was thinking that if every had gotten into a scrounging scenario and all I could get my hands on were AAA then I would be ok. Plus as I am thinking of sorting out some sort of solar battery charger the AAA will take less time to charge.....ok I admit will not last as long as AA but at least I still have 2 working options to power a AA device.

I like the look of those adaptors, I think they'll be going on the wish list. Thanks for the pointer.FlashPan wrote:Should have also mentioned that I just bought these as well:
