Heads up - Kilner jars

Post by pseudonym »

Sainsburys at the moment are selling off:

6 pack 0.5 litre two piece festive preserving jars for £5.

Reduced from £10

They have festive holly lids, but who cares - the individual ones next to the packs are selling at £2 a pop

I stocked up on 24. Might go back tomorrow after they've restocked.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Well I went, I hunted and searched the isles and NOT A SINGLE JAR was found :o

How pants was that!

Love nectar points, got over £300 saved up! I collect them whenever I can.

We could do with some more, Her Maj has a load full of beans and lentils and God knows, since I got the dehydrator, I've been topping them up as well, a wee trip to Dunelm might be in order in the new year, see if they've got a sale on.

You can't have enough I say! They are an investment for life if looked after. I need to get filling after Christmas, need to get my meat stocks up and running. I'm hoping for a Turkey or two to make into soups and can it all up.

It's very pleasing to see them all lined up with homemade goodies inside.
