Hello from the New Girl
Hi Everyone, Do you all read PAW Fiction and if so how informative and helpful do you find it? I read it quite a lot but often find the storylines contain Folks who are either very wealthy and can afford the whole array of Prepping and post event equipment, or live in a rural retreat with everything on hand to live after the world changing crisis. But there are always suggestions for kit needed and what to plan for after the fact.

Hello and welcome to the Forum.
Yes I do read PAW fiction, and am always picking up ideas from them. You are correct that the stories often involve multi millionaires, and I can only wish....

Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Welcome
PAW fiction. It's fun, in an abysmal sort of way. But very few of the protagonists ever seem to have family at a distance, they're all conveniently dead etc, and have never started families of their own. There are a few honourable exceptions, of course, and anyway I'm thinking more of the free online stuff when I write that.
One thing I *did* pick up from the American free online stuff is blackberry hedges at the boundary of a property I've nicked it for my own (unpublished) fiction, then I also found out that gorse is used in the UK as a stock fence. Perfick

Hi there, welcome.
I tend to find that fiction is fiction and the way that things are used in fiction doesn't match up to the reality. However, I am sure we have all thought about what it would be to be in a mad max situation. However the NHS in the PAW future is going to be a little shabby Lets hope it never happens.
