Meets

Post by Reddevil »

Hi
I am new to prepping and was wondering if any groups get together to learn and practice new skills?

That's a pretty broad list there mate. Good luck with it all. Although you kind of have given us an introduction, could you pop across to the welcome section and give us a quick intro, as for meets, we're a furtive bunch it seems, get your 'face' known and you're more likely to get a meet up, what sort of areas are you looking at ?

It sounds a lot like you would like the you tube gang Funky prepper and all, have a few meet ups and one or two big ones every year now, I think as time has gone by for them at least it's as much about the social activity and the addiction of making the videos as it is about prepping now.
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

It seems compulsory that everyone who goes makes a video. A swing through Youtube suggests that apart from cooking the only other thing going on is everyone filming the cooking, and putting up of shelters. I'm not being snidey, I'm a big fan of cooking, and living under canvas, I'm just too much of a diva for the cameras. :D
