I know of 3 or 4 people here that get it on prescription. From what I know it wasn’t hard for them to get it, and none of them use it for chronic pain. One had ADHD and gets it for that, not sure about the others.
I have been considering asking about it as I do have chronic pain, and have been on tramadol for about 25 years.
Prepping for lifes little mishaps, and some of the bigger ones as well.

I'd be really interested to see any more detailed reports of what hoops had to be jumped through to get it prescribed.

My contact got agreement from his GP then chose his own clinic based on who was offering the service, charges and reviews. He paid for an initial assessment and had to agree access to his NHS medical records. There was some ID verification and then the video consultation where they went through the options. But my contact came away disappointed as they will not prescribe with his medical history although that may change in future.

Thanks GillyBee, that's the kind of thing I was looking for. Sorry to hear that after all of that, your contact wasn't able to get a prescription.
