Barley shortage

Post by British Red »

I found out recently from a neighbour that the Ukraine, as well as being a major exporter of wheat is a major exporter of barley

Time for some strategic stocking up :?

Interesting to note that two items were "to follow". In the first lock down almost all homebrew items sold out!

I have stocked up on decent amount of barley in fermented liquid form, enough to get me through I reckon.

Slàinte.

Edited to say ‘distilled’ but you all know what I mean!

sláinte agatsa

I enjoy brewing - and the quality kits now available from breweries like St Peters make a fantastic product at a fraction of the supermarket price for the same beer ( no duty and all that). Plus they take up much less room which is nice. We make wine & cider from scratch so that's never a worry ;)
