I worked with an ex gas man too. He told me about turning the old grey meters around for every other month. Said he never had snow on the roof.

Least he had the knowledge to do it safely if not legally :lol:


I've seen a electric meter bypassed with a cheap car jump lead... The client was not happy when the local distribution chaps turned up with the police the electrical firm I was mating for got a few threatening phone calls after from the client :roll:
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)
