Can't beat free electricity

OK someone's bound to say it's not free you've spent £xxx on panels and batteries. But when the power goes off £xxx is worth every penny on top of what ever free electric your able to make and use on a normal day :ugeek:
Indeed, and with little changes in habits, all meals cooked for free and brews aplenty on a pass through system. :ugeek:
Got a travel kettle for my preps draws 800w and takes 5% out the ecoflow delta max per 850ml boil
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Lack of planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on mine

Arriva@ed and installed, getting 142w out of 200w set up even at vertical position, that'll do me.

Our 240w system has kept the AA/AAA rechargeables (torches, emergency SW radio, walkie talkies etc), leisure batteries,
and led lamps (letour 60w camping lanterns), charged over the winter, and even a cordless drill, well worth the expense,
under £250, and is good insurance for power outages.

I like the idea of that little travel kettle on solar although if we manage to run through our gas cooking stock the country will be in the stone age.

A simple rocket stove will always be backup for a gas stove and you’ll never run out of fuel.

It's more a saving prep from full I can make 20 ish kettles full of boiling water without any input this time of year onwards I'm currently making 1.5kw + a day from solar so can fully charge the power station every day ..

No one wants to be faffing about to make a brew at home at 7am I need my caffeine ASAP

You're going to have to buy another one mate, twenty brews will only get you through the working day and then you'll be dry until Beer o'clock

Just seen a clip on X showing square waves on the ocean. Apparently very dangerous. People also posting about rip currents.

Decorator has finished the filling and sanding, apart from the edges of the stairs, which has to wait until the carpet is lifted tomorrow. He's done about 3 days filling and sanding so far, very thorough.
