Currently cycling the big power station supposed to discharge it regularly and recharge it to keep the battery in it healthy...

Currently running the little tumble dryer from it to give it something to do



Only 1kw because I've shoved the diesel heater outlet in the direction of the driers air intake so it's pulling in already hot air... speed the drier up no end

I do mine in the summer, less chance of me getting caught out with empty batteries (knowing my luck)

Ecoflow say every 3 months so needed doing thought I'd do Saturday morning industry shut for the weekend not a high demand at 8 am it's sat by my feet fully charged again picked up another basic 5m extension lead to make distribution of power a bit easier..

I stand corrected. Jackery says the same thing so fridge,laptop and 700w oil heater working away.

823w gives me 14 hours

30 min cycle on washing machine peaked out at 1849w

Had it been summer sun it'd have being charged on solar but the risk of blackout it got the mains recharge just shy of 1hr:30mins to recharge

Popped into town this afternoon little lad happy with his down coat .. got him some more gloves come home upset he'd lost one at school the other night so said I'd take him to boyes for some new ones.. he also got a new hat and pack of vests out of daddy

I got another extension lead with 5m flex and a double socket that's to go from the lounge to the fridge and freezer so I can use the ecoflow from the lounge ..

A litre bottle of lamp oil just because they had some...

And another large threaded cartridge for the jet boil clone


If the power does go off the shops will get stripped

Just need to go put it back in the cupboard before the wife discovers the second river 2 that appeared in there

Found the little lidl 500w mini plug in heater wont work off it as the 13a plugs are side mounted must have a mercury tilt switch in it

Did an emergency First Aid course this week, courtesy of work. Feel like I would cope much better now (haven’t done one for a few years) and also reminded me of a few bits I need to update in my first aid kit at home/car. Also considering buying a defribulator due to our rural location at home. Have others bought them? Any advice appreciated.

Other brands zoll and lifepak or Philips

Look at the cost of pads they have a shelf life likewise batteries the one above is in the handle

It's a touch above freezing here at last odd drops if water coming off thr house and the car windows are just about thawed out .... so both cars have just had a human equivalent of a strip wash .. just lights/ reflectors number plates and windows given a wash and rinse used less than half a bucket of soapy water and 6l watering can to do both cars .... topped up screen wash and checked levels... ready for another week
