The books? They're about 30+ years old and are just informative. What's dodgy about it?

Gas use was a bit high the last couple of days, despite warmer weather, and house got a bit hot, so I've lowered the thermostat in mornings and evenings. It's now on 18° all day, and 16.5° at night. I'll up the night setting to 17° tomorrow night, as forecast is -2. This should give a bit of preheat in the early morning. Also turned some TRVs down. But you have to have the TRV on maximum in the room the thermostat is in, which is the back living room for me.

Job for today is to swap old for new stock of hand sanitizer wipes in home and BOB first aid kits and record new expiry date in spreadsheets. You get about 18 months on these, which are Clinell, 100 x individually wrapped, great for travel, FAKs etc.

Did a bit of updating as mentioned above putting hand wipes into first aid kits and so on. Ordered some first aid micropore tape. The roll in my St John's FAK doesn't have a date, but 3M put a 5 year date on, and it's almost 5 years old. Ordered 3 rolls of 3M 1.25cm. Nice and small, one for the St Johns, one for the BOB, and a spare. Had to use some on my bandages last month actually.

Practicing my rusty bread baking skills.
Made a batch of Staffs Oatcakes
viewtopic.php?p=183026#p183026
Relearned to blitz the oats for longer as my oatcakes came out too thick.
Relearned to trust them to not stick.
The batch was edible, but sub-par and too thick

Made a loaf of bread ( a very rarely practiced feat )
viewtopic.php?p=244004#p244004%20
That too was sub-par

Made a batch of trifles Much better. I used up some 2018 skimmed milk powder. It was fine.
