Plumber arranged last night, coming Tuesday. Sent him pictures and answered his questions; he had a quote back within 30 mins.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

10 litres of red diesel ⛽️ for the diesel heaters and 40kg of chicken feed added to stock

Boat yard 1 quid per litre of red diesel didn't realise their minimum dispensing was 20 litres but she did my 10l barrel as long as I know for next time... which won't be an issue I've a 20l jerry can

Had a power outage for 2-3 hours the other night so focused my mind on the immediate. I have just ordered a refurbished ecoflow delta & solar, will use for freezer backup or entertainment for short term issues.

I also must really sort out my main solar backup socket for power cuts which are redundant currently in that regard.

Running up the white flag and going to get my flu jag tomorrow. I see the statistics from down south and they’re not great so I think I would be better off getting it now.

As I’m a front line worker, I should be okay. We have been getting asked for a few weeks and while I’m not an anti-vaccer by any measure, I’ve usually only taken the flu every few years as I’m fairly healthy and never saw the point. This year however is different so I reckon I will get it pronto.

Made a great discovery. Bathroom extractor gets humidity down after a shower dramatically faster if I leave the door exactly half way open. In fact, if I then close the door only slightly open, the humidity shoots back up! And then get the door back to 45 degrees, it shoots down again. It's amazing! I had mould on the painted walls for ages, so trying to stop it coming back.

Beware your not just venting the humidity into the rest of the house....

Likewise close trickle vents in the bathroom when the fans on.. as you'll just pull cold / damp air into the room

The bathroom door should have a bit of a gap under the door..

Aim is to draw warm house air in under the door as the fan shoves the damp air outside
