Hello all! It's nice to be here, I'm new to the forum. I'm hoping to meet some people and discuss my new journey into Bushcraft/Outdoor Skills and prepping. I'm eager to learn some valuable skills such as how to make homemade alcohol (mead), medicine like (penicillin) and any other useful life skills for ultimate self reliance.

I started prepping to be ready for any SHTF situation. I am un-vaccinated, and as Sid the sloth says "No thanks, I choose life" lol. I have mainly been prepping for the zombie apocalypse, but the way the government is going I would be open to living off grid in a self made log cabin. I have moderate experience with archery (crossbows), silent but deadly!

I'm essentially an American at heart, who ended up being born in the UK :D

Look forward to talking and hopefully some arranged meet ups in the future.

Welcome to the forum. Those zombies, hey, what about them? Took me a while to get into the fiction, but I get it nowdays  learning to make mead and practising home made medicine also sound excellent.

hi and welcome from Cheshire.
Why mead And not just wine or ale? Mead demands a lot of precious honey, where wine can be made from most Berry's when they are plentiful. I keep about a dozen wine and beer kits in reserve. My own base prep is the extended pantry, which serves many purposes. Bushcraft and going off grid is not for everyone and I prefer my chances bugging in even in a grid down scenario.
Graceful Degradation! Prepping's objective summed up in two words. Turning Disaster into Mild Inconvenience by the power of fore-thought

Not Feeling Optimistic. Let me be wrong
