PMs General Thread

Post by itsybitsy »

Anyone accumulating at the moment? I've started buying silver again, just a coin or two a month, usually Britannia or Silver Eagle as CGT free.

Gold Price £2,275.07 an ounce

Silver Price £25.42 an ounce

Both on hold at the moment Itsy but if I were it would be fractional Gold for me.

Silver is too bulky and heavy after a certain point and I have reached that level modest though it is.

Each to their own, stacking is stacking whether 1/10th or an ounce of either.

Whatever you can afford to live without.

As you know my Premium Bond "wins" help me to increase my holdings.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

I do like the idea of the fractional gold but at the moment, finances will only stretch to silver.

AI is likely to have a significant impact on the precious metals industry, one of the main drivers for me to start buying again. That and the general, underlying feeling of panic and impending doom.

I'm also tempted to "cash in" my Silver at these prices and exchange it with gold. It's almost at the level where I'll bank profit.

Edit: I am not a financial adviser I just play one on the Internet..

Everyone's goals are different, for me I saw what the Government was attempting to do to my Father's Estate during his old age and after his death and I will not let that happen to my relatives with mine.

Edit: woke up this morning to a PB win of £275. Two days ago that would of got me a 1/2 Sovereign, today that is out of my range. I could purchase 1/10th of a Gold Britannia but I would be 9/10ths short of an ounce, that'd drive me bonkers.

Exactly why it's best to not think about it too much. Just do what's right for you in the moment - hindsight would kill us all.

You're welcome, all my purchases through them have been exceptional both gold and silver.
