So one man's scrap and a that.... i still don't think they have fully sussed how actually handy I am with a pile of tools

Bit of a sorry state
Started by freeing up the hinges with a gas torch running mapp gas and let it draw in some 3 in 1 oil which once it cooled you could hear it cracking the rust ...
Broken weld was ground back and old buzz box welder was pulled out and weld replaced the other hinge weld looked cracked too so it also got ground up and re done..
The burner air control flap was also fettled
Main body hit with a flap disc and solvent wiped warmed up slightly (i did remove my eyebrow doing this should have let the solvent wipe gas off fully first

Gas burner was used to slowly bake the new paint the instructions actually say to heat the paint to not more than 200°C to aid curing
£440 new so worth the work
