Help with my BOL

Post by pietka »

I had the perfect place! Fairly remote! Fertile and set up ready to escape to!

It was my Nans farm!

My auntie moved into the farmhouse several years ago an built an Annex for her! Whilst my Auntie and her partner put the farm back into use!

My problem is they have gone behind our entire families back an put the lot up for sale and they are taking my nan and the money raised from selling the farm and moving to Devon from the south east! The buyer is an expert in country housing!

My Bol is soon to become a rural housing estate! I've got to find some where to move 3 20ft shipping containers! Full of work and prep equipment and a new BOL?

that is just typical of the sort of people we are getting moving to Devon these days, "incomers" from the south-east with money, none of the locals can afford Devon's high house prices. in North Devon the AVERAGE house price is £225,327 which is 14.8 times the AVERAGE income of £15,215.

Well, it's a free country...and while some individuals may not like the fact that affluent people are moving to their area, nobody's breaking any laws.

its only free if you have pots of money, like bankers and politicians, their the ones who MAKE the rules, otherwise you have to do what you are told and not make a fuss.

The point is my perfect sanctuary in the dark days will be destroyed! With houses and people! And the land destroyed! Where do I look next? All the preparations I have made will be wasted! I'm sick that my family has stabbed me in the back! But it's not helping my future! I have no pot of money!

It sounds like it was far from being a "perfect sanctuary" pietka, :(

Are the containers easily movable to a new storage site? or will you need to find some local lock-up garage to move your gear into?
