Salutations from Shropshire

Post by morethanfreemen »

Hi all,

Just wanted to make myself known.

I am currently prepping for a financial collapse of the UK, Europe, US and most central bank driven nations, and have been for about a year now. Still have a lot to do and buy before 100% prepared but I believe we have a year or two at least before anything major happens at least I hope. Not taking into account any new wars we may start which seems likely especially with Iran. Any questions comments etc are welcome as I am here to learn but also wish to discuss my views to anyone who is interested. :)

Also I would like to invite all and any interested to join the UK collapse group on Facebook (for those who have it)

All the best.

I don't think that any of us can be totally prepared. 100% is impossible, but if we can all share knowledge and skills we can get closer to preparedness and start to look after our bases.
Welcome. looking forward to hearing your contribution and seeing some ideas.

Thank you for the warm welcomes :)

@moocher I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Acton, I'll be sure to try and get a visit in at some point as its not far from Telford where I live.

@Scoobie Please do :) we are a relatively small group about 650 members most of them inactive lol, but we have a fair few active members who post relevant information daily, me being one of them ;)

@nickdutch Yes you are quite right, I meant feel like I'm 100% prepared more than anything, but even then if/when the SHTF 99% of us won't feel prepared at all, even those of us who have prepared as much as possible.

As I stated before I am prepping for the financial collapse of the UK economy, I know there are other possibly SHTF scenerios but for me this one is the biggie and a mathmatical certainty, the only thing I don't know in my mind is when it's going to occur but again as previously stated, I believe somewhere between 1 to 5 years.

So far I have stocked up on sundry food items, enough for a good few months if rationed. Sanitation and hygiene products. Seeds. Medical supplies.... the list is fairly extensive.

I don't use banks for storing money, rarely use debit card and never use credit cards. Invested in a little gold and silver as a store of wealth vehicle. I am a member of a shooting club with an FAC on the books very soon.

Home has solar panels and I have teamed up with a neighbour and in the process of sorting some of his land out to be used to grow vegetables and looking into beehives etc albeit he doesn't know that I think the economy is going to collapse at some point in the not so distant future lol.

Anyone else here pretty serious on the Financial collapse side of things in particular?

Thats about it so far anyway, any comments, constructive criticisms and questions welcome.

Thanks!

So far I
