Hello everyone,
New to prepping but it complements my live of Land Rover Defenders and camping.
I am currently kitting out a Defender 130 as an overland vehicle, many of the things I add as part of this project I see on the forum:
- 95 litre filtered water system
- Twin leisure batteries with split charger
- 90 litre 12v fridge / freezer
- 140W solar charging system mounted on the roof
My hope is to be able to live out of this vehicle for 6 month's if I have to bug out. I will submit a couple of pictures as the project develops.
Orac1.

Hello and welcome to the Forum.
Look forward to seeing regular posts on your project.

Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Re: Hello from Oxfordshire
Hi and welcome from south Oxfordshire. I would love to have a Landy defender, that is probably not to be for a good while, if ever.
Would love to see your posts as many look doable for other vehicles.

Re: Hello from Oxfordshire
Super pics, thanks. I am not into mechanics at all being a fairly girly middle-aged mum but I'm in a Landy group on another forum and I've surprised myself at how interesting I've found someone's rebuild of a Landy. And as a wanna-be small or micro holder I like how useful they are.

Re: Hello from Oxfordshire
This guy is getting prepared, nice looking land rover is it still for every day use as well or just for the bugout?
Doesn't it stand out in your neighborhood and draw unwanted attention going against the grey man principle?

Re: Hello from Oxfordshire
Hi,
This is my second Defender, I use a 110 station wagon as my day to day vehicle.
Living in the Oxfordshire countrside everyone has a Land Rover, with roads that constantly flood you tend to stand out if you have an ordinary car.
