Be interested to see what it weighs esp. the smaller bags. Can you let us know?

Thats an EDC or BOB? wow. Dont get me wrong, I am impresed by the thoroughness of your preparation.

How far could you carry it? how far is your BOL?

I would have thought that would be an INCH kit

well i don't have a a specific BOL atm this is something im still working on but I have serveral spots that i can camp/hideout for a few days. Im planning for a full scale apocalypse. i will carry the first 2 bags upto 20miles on any given day, but in all honestly i think that is pushing it abit far. right now my physical performance is slightly bad.
tbh the contents of the bags are fairly standard. i recommend watching several videos on youtube for BOBs. things like bolt cutters and pribar are my idea in case i need to breech a secure location and they are only small versions about a foot in length. oh i also have a 5 piece lock pick set in my small bag. a bit pointless coz im useless as picking. im not planning any illegal activities, like i say im planning for a full scale end of the world WROL.

Ok cool

So realisticaly it is an INCH (Im never coming home) kit.
While i realise you have researched the subject and I am in no way being negative about your preps, the choice of BOL will influence greatly the contents of a BOB.
Have a read through a few threads about peoples BOLs and you can see the difference.
At one end of the scale there is "Im going to the nearest travellodge" and I have a few things to get me there.
At the other end of the scale is a fully equiped BOV of gargantuan proportions to have a "Mad Max" stylee existance at TEOTWAWKI.

Perhaps having an explore and test of the bag could help to gell some ideas about BOLs.

PS as a word of caution . . . having a prybar, axe and lock picks in your bag if you do go exploring is "going equiped" and will see you in the care of the local plod if found .

Have fun

yes my kit is based on worst case scenario. to me, when the time comes to bug out it will be every man for him self and the total collapse of civilization. i have ample but small food store and im working on means of alternate power for while i am home. but if i have to leave home temporarily my kit can be modified. but of course i dont really fancy goin down the old nick because ive been doing a test run. the pribar isnt currently in the bag atm anyway as i sometimes use it at work.

cheers for the advice pal =)

That's a good kit post-SHTF. Pre-SHTF take care - the plod are going to have a field day if they stop you and find some of those items in your bag... :D

I maintain an EDC kit that lives in my rucksack. It goes with me everywhere and will get me home from work (London) or to safety, or I can even spend a fairly comfy night or two in the woods if needs be. It's not a BoB though, nor an INCH kit.
