What's best to grow vegs in autumn//winter?

Post by ctrljay »

Any green fingered preppers out there with ideas for growing veggies or growing generally? For autumn/winter time.
We live in a unsustainable world, there must be a balance, poor people/rich people no more, only prepared people will make it!

I grow parsnip, leeks, cabbages, onions and garlic every year. Onions and garlic for picking the following year. I keep thinking I should be doing more but its having the get up and go to do anything in the allotment during the winter :(
