A friend of mine in the USA told me about these little torches, so, as they are cheap, I ordered one:

Not bad at all for the money, really surprised how bright it is! Keep it on my keyring and its been really useful this week as I've had early shifts all week and as the local council are skint they switch the streetlights off and it's pitch dark when I have to leave the house!
The USA friend of mine who told me about them has put his through some real tough stuff. Don't want to make this post any larger than it needs to be, so lets just say he's a writer and spends an awful lot of time outdoors and particularly in swamps and wetlands etc.
Only downside is the battery type - 4 x LR41. Can't think of another battery type that would have worked, for the size, that would have been rechargeable.
Still worth it for the money, for me.

Re: eGear Pico Light Torch
They look alright. It's always worth checking out your local army surplus store mine stocks cheap cree based, aluminium push button torches for £4. They even use rubber o'rings so they can take a dunk in the water or be used in extreme rain. They just use a AAA battery.
Re: eGear Pico Light Torch
Whilst the cost vs size was comfortable for me, I did mean to add something else.
Other torches are available, many will perform better and be cheaper, just not for the size, in my view.
