I really need to get a decent multi tool for my EDC also known as My Handbag :D

What do you suggest?

I've had a Leatherman Super tool since 1995, a fantastic Multitool.

Be aware that the blades lock so fall foul of our knife Laws
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

I haven't got one but the Leatherman range is good and I have always wanted one, I reckon one that takes jigsaw blades would be good, but I cant help reccomending a modest penknife also, and a small (for legality) locking knife, you know it makes sense ;) I'm no sexist and I use a ram jam full belt bag, but you're a girly Maddie and a prepper also, I'm betting your hangbag weighs a ton and has everything bar the kitchen sink in it, another pound of useful steel wouldn't make much difference would it?

I've also got a bit of a reputation for encouraging friends astray whilst shopping
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

So what should I be looking for in a multi tool? Make? Gadgets? Never bought one before so really have no idea. Screwdriver, scissors and blade are the only things that spring to mind but I am sure it is one of those things that when you have extra, you use them and realise you cuoldn't live without them.

There is one that I have found the most consistently useful, it is also the smallest I own and most cheap to buy. So much so, I have bought these for others Christmas presents etc. The only disadvantage to it is that is doesn't have a pair of pliers, if you consider that to be a disadvantage. It's cheap and small enough to go on your keyring, Leatherman Micra gets my vote.

I have a Leatherman Wave but the leatherman juice is nice too and comes in lots of colours.
